Дом-музей М.Н. Ермоловой/Театральный салон на Тверском бульвареThe exhibition of one of the most brilliant theatre photographers of Moscow is open at the Theatre Saloon in Yermolova House Museum from October 6. There will be presented photo portraits of the leading directors from the theatre world.
Mikhail Guterman has made thousands of photographs of performances, festivals, rehearsals and other events of the theatrical capital for more than 41 years. 15 monographs about outstanding figures in theatre and cinema – Oleg Dal, Lev Durov, Pyotr Fomenko, Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, Oleg Tabakov – were published with his participation. Guterman’s works were released in booklets devoted to such theatrical prizes as «Golden Mask», «Crystal Turandot», «Triumph», «Seagull», «Idol», as well as in various home and foreign theatrical publications.
«Theatre of Our Time» is the third collaborative project of Mikhail Guterman and the A.A. Bakhrushin Theatre Museum. In 1985 the exhibition «Oleg Dal» was open at the Yermolova House Museum, where exclusive photos of the outstanding actor were shown, and in October 2015 the personal exhibition of the photographer «Mikhail Guterman’s Theatre» was held at the Theatre Gallery on Malaya Ordynka.
At the upcoming exhibition «Theatre of Our Time» visitors will see more than 103 photos, which depict 32 directors of different generations of the Russian theatre. There are photo portraits of Pyotr Fomenko, Yuri Lyubimov, Andrei Konchalovsky, Mark Zakharov, Lev Dodin, Roman Viktyuk, Kirill Serebrennikov, Rimas Tuminas, Mark Rozovsky, Boris Yukhananov, Dmitry Krymov, Yevgeny Kamenkovich, Konstantin Bogomolov and others. The exhibition will also feature photographs of the foreign theatre directors: Eimuntas Nekrošius, Andriy Zholdak, Declan Donnellan and Oskaras Koršunovas. The exhibition will be located in two halls and one room.
